It’s A Wonderful Life is my favorite family movie film of all times and is truly inspiring. If you haven’t yet seen this movie, then you have been missing a real treat. This movie is like a warm hug on a sad day. It is a movie that you will watch over and over again. It is a movie that, shows the psychology of depression and the how people come out of it, and part of the movie is about the way men and women fall in love, The brilliantly made movie, was made with amazing acting from Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed .
You will love this wonderful family film because it teaches us that family values, friendship, and virtue are the true meaning of wealth.This dvd movie is simply full of magical movie moments that simply aren’t seen anymore.
It’s a brilliant film. James Stewart is wonderful as George Bailey who receives the best Christmas present he ever had. The movie captures the true Spirit of Chritsmas that you can watch all year long and never get tired of it.
The movie begins on Christmas Eve as the multiple prayers of many people on Earth for a man named George Bailey are heard by beings in Heaven. The story is set on Christmas Eve, when a human error causes him to face financial ruin, George is on the verge of committing suicide. James Stewart gives an emotional performance; whether he is praising his father’s morals and decency as a human being, praying to God for guidance, or celebrating his new outlook on life the viewer can relate to his passion, desperation, or joy.
James Stewart is superb as George Bailey, a depressed man who wants to end his life thinking he is worthless. George Bailey is a good man from the start but hides his feelings of regret, that his stuck in the same town rather then seeing the world has he wanted. George George is sick of the way his life has been, is now on the verge of suicide. George has truly lost faith in people, the world and in God. George claims “Everyone would be better off if I’d never been born. Contemplating suicide, it takes a guardian angel to make him see all the good things that he accomplished in his life and how many lives around him that he touched beginning when he was just a boy. It it will leave you feeling comforted and safe, and that feeling is priceless.
The prayers of his family and friends alert Heaven to George’s state of mind and Clarence Odbody, an Angel Second Class, is sent to Earth to save George. Clarence allows George to see life as it would have been if he had never been born.Clarence later reveals that he is also being tested; after over 200 years of trying, he has still not earned his wings. George Baily’s guardian angel, Clarence, grants him his wish to see what life would be like if he (George Baily) had never been born. Clarence takes this statement to heart and grants George’s wish: the world has never known of a man named George Bailey, and he truly has never been born. The movie is the story of the life of common man George Bailey, as told to his guardian angel Clarence Odbody, who has been recruited to save him in his moment of need.
Its a wonderful life will make you cry and laugh and it will keep you on the edge of your seat because you are hooked in by this heart warming story.Just to see how many lives he has touched, and the difference he has made to the town is enough for George Bailey to realize that despite his problems he really does have a wonderful life. Everytime I see this movie, I always have a tears in my eyes. This is only one of the secrets behind this famous movie and this is a must have family film dvd or vhs because it is one of the all time weepy classics that will melt even the hardest of hearts. This is one of greatest feel-good movies I have ever seen.
Conclusion It would be hard to find a movie with the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas . It is one of the purest movies ever made. It is a delightful classic. “Capra had wanted the movie to inspire a sense of religiosity in a nation he feared was drifting toward atheism, and to provide hope to the human spirit, but he did not consider it a holiday film even with its Christmas wreaths, snow and themes of love, friendship, and family. It is a 1946 film produced and directed by Frank Capra and based on the story, “The Greatest Gift”.
It’s a Wonderful Life sparked my love in James Stewart and also my belief in friendship and the fact that life really is wonderful. This movie teaches to love life, be an example, go the extra mile and count your blessings regardless of your ups and downs because you never know how many lives you touch every day.If you learn to be thankful for what you have, you won’t have time to be depressed about what you don’t have. Just remember: You also have a guardian angel to help you in your time of need. This is a wonderful life. Be a good example you may be the only Bible someone else will ever read.
